Max leads all Sapient’s legal and compliance efforts.

Prior to joining Sapient, Max spent 12 years at PAAMCO Prisma, an institutional alternative asset manager, in its California, London and New York offices, as Chief Legal Officer. Before that, Max worked in the investment management group of Akin Gump in New York where he advised clients on a wide array of investment fund matters.

Max graduated from the University of Amsterdam with JD-equivalent degrees in Dutch Law and European & International Public Law and received his LLM from New York University School of Law. Max also spent time at Columbia University Law School and at the École de Droit of the Sorbonne. He currently resides in New York. He is admitted to the Bar in New York.
